Automations & email sequences

Answer: Automations fire on triggers, email sequences drip multi-step follow-up to enrolled leads, and broadcasts send one-time emails. Built-in deliverability protections keep your sending domain healthy.

Trigger-based automations, multi-step email sequences with lead enrollment, and one-time broadcasts — plus the deliverability protections that keep your domain healthy.

The Automations view is a three-tab control center: Automations (trigger → action rules), Sequences (multi-step drip campaigns), and Broadcasts (one-time messages to a filtered audience). Together they handle follow-up without you lifting a finger.

Automations: if this, then that

  1. 1Open the Automations view and switch to the Automations tab.
  2. 2Click New automation.
  3. 3Pick a trigger: a lead is created (lead_created), a lead changes status (status_changed), a lead crosses a score threshold (score_threshold), or a task becomes overdue (task_overdue).
  4. 4Pick an action: send an email, create a task, update the lead, notify the team, and so on.
  5. 5Save and enable the automation.
Pro tip: A classic setup: 'When a lead crosses 60 points (score_threshold), notify the owner and create a high-priority task to call within 24 hours.' That's one rule replacing a manual daily review.

Email sequences: multi-step drip campaigns

  1. 1Open the Sequences tab and create a new sequence.
  2. 2Add steps — each step is an email with a delay (for example, Day 0, Day 3, Day 7).
  3. 3Enroll leads into the sequence, either one by one or from a filtered set.
  4. 4LeadFlow tracks enrollments and sends each step on schedule.

Sequences use the email templates from your Email templates, personalizing {name} and {company} per lead. Enrolled leads show their progress on the lead's Messages tab.

Broadcasts: one message to many

  1. 1Open the Broadcasts tab.
  2. 2Write a subject and body.
  3. 3Filter the audience by lead status and source.
  4. 4Send — LeadFlow records how many recipients were matched and sends to them.
  • Broadcasts automatically skip unverified or previously bounced emails — so your sender reputation stays clean and you don't get flagged as spam.
  • This protection is built in; you don't have to manage suppression lists yourself.
