Quotes: build and send proposals

Answer: Quotes build proposals from line items, quantities, prices, tax, and totals, then let you send them by email or download a copy for the lead.

Line items, quantities, prices, tax, and totals — plus statuses, sending by email, and downloading a copy for the lead.

The Quotes view builds professional quotes and proposals without leaving LeadFlow. Add line items, let it calculate subtotal, tax, and total, then send it to the lead or download a copy.

Create a quote

  1. 1Open the Quotes view and click New quote.
  2. 2Attach the quote to the right lead.
  3. 3Add line items — each with a description, quantity, and price.
  4. 4Review the subtotal; add tax if applicable.
  5. 5Save. The quote starts in Draft status.

Quote statuses

  • Draft — still being edited, not yet with the lead.
  • Sent — delivered to the lead.
  • Accepted — the deal is won; move the lead to the Won stage in the pipeline.
  • Rejected — the deal is closed (on the negative side); use the Lost playbook to keep the door open.

Send or download

  • Send as email — emails the quote to the lead from their record.
  • Download — grab a copy to attach anywhere or print.
  • Updating a quote's status also shows up on the lead's Quotes tab, so the whole team sees where it stands.
Pro tip: Creating a quote can fire an outgoing webhook (quote.created) if you have one configured — great for syncing accepted quotes into your accounting or CRM tools. See the Integrations tutorial.
